White Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. pure extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 c. clam juice
  • 1/4 c. minced parsley
  • salt and fresh grnd black pepper to taste
  • 2 c. chopped clams (fresh or possibly canned)
  • 1 doz. fresh clams

Directions

  1. In frying pan brown garlic in oil for one minute over moderate heat. Add in clam juice and bring to boil. Add in parsley, salt, pepper, clams and heat through.
  2. Serve over linguine or possibly spaghetti and garnish with fresh steamed whole clams in shell.
