Venison Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 pound venison sausage
  • 1 c. onion, coarsely minced
  • 4 c. potatoes, peeled cut in 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/8 teaspoon grnd pepper
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (17 ounce.) can creamed corn
  • 1 (17 ounce.) can kernel corn
  • 1 (12 ounce.) can evaporated lowfat milk

Directions

  1. Cook sausage and onion till meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain on paper toweling. Put in Dutch oven with potatoes, spices and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 min. Add in both kinds of corn and evaporated lowfat milk. Heat through. Serves 6.
