Ingredients

  • 12 Large eggs
  • 5 lbs. flour
  • 3 Packages dry yeast
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3 c. lowfat milk, scalded & cooled
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 2 c. raisins

Directions

  1. Put 3 pkgs. of dry yeast into cooled lowfat milk to dissolve, mix as you would any bread dough. Let rise and then punch down. Let rise again till double in bulk. Put in pans which have been greased and let rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min or possibly a little more. Makes 5 big loaves.
