Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. scalded lowfat milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  1. Mix lowfat milk, butter, sugar and salt; allow to cold. Add in 2 Large eggs and 4 egg yolks to mix. Add in flour.
  2. Combine yeast, water and 1 tsp. sugar. Add in to above. Knead and let rise once. Punch down, knead and let rise again. Then knead and put into greased pan and let rise again (covered).
  3. Mix topping of flour, sugar and butter. Brush dough with egg white and crumble topping over it. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
