Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 c. flour
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Directions
- Mix lowfat milk, butter, sugar and salt; allow to cold. Add in 2 Large eggs and 4 egg yolks to mix. Add in flour.
- Combine yeast, water and 1 tsp. sugar. Add in to above. Knead and let rise once. Punch down, knead and let rise again. Then knead and put into greased pan and let rise again (covered).
- Mix topping of flour, sugar and butter. Brush dough with egg white and crumble topping over it. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
