Traditional Bolognaise Sauce

Ingredients

  • 7 ounce (200 g) of grnd beef filet
  • 5 ounce (150 g) of grnd pork
  • 3.5 ounce (100 g) of grnd poultry livers
  • 10 ounce (300 g) of tomato coulis
  • 1 minced carrot
  • ½ chopped onion
  • 1 branch of minced celery
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) of unsalted butter
  • Salt
  • Grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. Heat unsalted butter in a large frying pan.
  2. Next, add in minced vegetables, browning them slightly for a few min while constantly stirring the contents of the frying pan.
  3. Add in finely minced meats, brown with vegetables for 10 min over medium heat. Mix well and stir during cooking.
  4. Next add in tomato coulis, salt and pepper.
  5. Mix all ingredients well, simmer over low heat for 15 to 20 min, stirring sauce from time to time.
  6. Pour several Tbsp. of warm Bolognaise sauce over pasta and serve.
