Thyme Pork Chops With Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. leaf thyme, crumbled
  • 4 thin pork chops (5 ounce.)
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 pkg. (6 1/2 ounce.) 15 minute stuffing mix for pork
  • 1 3/4 c. unsweetened apple juice
  • 1/4 c. diced celery
  • 1/4 c. golden brown raisins

Directions

  1. Press the thyme into both sides of chops.
  2. Saute/fry the chops in the oil in a large skillet for 2 min on each side or possibly till browned. Add in the water, cover and lower the heat; cook for 25-30 min or possibly till the chops are tender.
  3. Meanwhile prepare the stuffing mix according to the package, substituting apple juice for water and adding celery and raisins. Keep hot.
  4. To serve arrange the pork chops on a platter with stuffing.
