Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. butter, lard or possibly shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 4 Large eggs, beaten well
  • 2 or possibly 3 tbsp. warm water
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 c. nuts (optional)
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c. raisins
  • 4 c. rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 c. coconut

Directions

  1. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Set aside.
  2. Cream butter (or possibly butter) and add in sugar gradually till fluffy.
  3. Fold in Large eggs, warm water and vanilla.
  4. Blend in dry ingredients: flour, rolled oats, fruits and nuts, chips, etc.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
  6. Makes a large recipe - needs heavy duty mixer or possibly by hand.
