%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBeing%20I%20add%20these%20white%20beauties%20to%20most%20everything%20I%20use%20to%20use%20russets,%20I%20also%20made%20a%20sweet%20potato%20mash%20with%20a%20combination%20of%20the%20two.%20%20For%20me,%20the%20mash%20would%20be%20best%20with%20all%20sweet%20potatoes,%20but%20I%20cannot%20convince%20Mr.%20Spinner,%20and%20that's%20ok.%20%20For%20a%20meat%20and%20potatoes%20guy,%20I'm%20just%20glad%20he's%20open%20to%20adding%20them%20to%20his%20traditional%20mash.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20first%20served%20my%20sweet%20potato%20mash%20for%20a%20girls%20night%20out%20at%20my%20house.%20%20We%20were%20celebrating%20a%20birthday%20and%20I%20combined%20the%20mash%20with%20my%20Spicy%20Planked%20Salmon.%20%20It's%20our%20favorite%20meal%20when%20we're%20together%20and%20the%20sweet%20mash%20with%20the%20spicy%20salmon%20was%20a%20delicious%20combination.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20both%20kinds%20of%20sweet%20potatoes,%20white%20and%20orange,%20along%20with%20russets.%20%20I%20kept%20it%20savory%20%20using%20Parmesan,%20butter,%20garlic,%20and%20chopped%20green%20onions.%20%20It's%20super%20easy%20to%20prepare%20and%20I%20think%20you'll%20enjoy%20it%20as%20we%20did.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%204-6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%20white%20sweet%20potatotes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%20russsets%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPeel%20and%20chop%20all%20five%20potatoes%20into%201%22%20pieces.%20%20Add%20to%20a%20large%20pot%20filled%20with%20cold%20water.%20%20Cover%20loosely%20and%20bring%20to%20a%20boil,%20then%20reduce%20to%20medium%20cooking%20until%20fork%20tender.%20%20Drain%20and%20return%20to%20pan%20-%20no%20heat%20-%20but%20sitting%20on%20the%20burner%20used%20to%20help%20remove%20all%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMash%20the%20potatoes%20together%20by%20hand%20with%20a%20potato%20masher%20and%20add%20the%20butter,%20garlic%20powder,%20Parmesan,%20sea%20salt%20and%20black%20pepper%20to%20taste.%20%20Toss%20in%20the%20green%20onions%20last%20leaving%20a%20few%20for%20the%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20immediately%20or%20keep%20warm%20until%20ready%20to%20eat.%20%20You%20can%20also%20make%20ahead%20and%20reheat%20in%20a%20low%20oven.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
