%20are%20quickly%20thrown%20together%20when%20using%20refrigerated%20biscuit%20dough,%20and%20then%20topped%20with%20my%20favorite%20strawberry%20cream%20cheese%20frosting.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%E2%80%99s%20talk.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20up%20at%202:30%20AM%20writing%20this%20post%20because%20I%20can%20not%20sleep.%20%20For%20the%20life%20of%20me,%20I%20cannot%20rest%20after%20waking%20up%20in%20panic%20thinking%20about%20sending%20Judah%20off%20to%20preschool%20in%20two%20weeks.%20%20All%20of%20these%20questions%20keep%20popping%20up%20in%20my%20head:%20%E2%80%9CWhat%20do%20I%20need%20to%20pack%20for%20him?%E2%80%9D%20%E2%80%9CDoes%20he%20need%20new%20shoes?%E2%80%9D%20%E2%80%9CWhere%20do%20I%20go%20to%20drop%20him%20off?%E2%80%9D%20%E2%80%9CWill%20he%20get%20a%20snack%20there%20or%20go%20hungry?%E2%80%9D%20%E2%80%9CHow%20do%20I%20know%20they%20won%E2%80%99t%20accidentally%20send%20him%20off%20with%20a%20stranger%20after%20school!?!?%E2%80%9D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20the%20list%20goes%20on.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%E2%80%99re%20also%20on%20the%20waiting%20list%20for%20the%20MWF%20class%20(currently%20enrolled%20in%20T/Th).%20%20%20When%20we%20signed%20up,%20I%20was%20told%20we%20were%20%235%20on%20the%20waiting%20list,%20but%20to%20expect%20to%20make%20it%20into%20the%20MWF%20class%20anyway.%20%20But,%20I%20haven%E2%80%99t%20heard%20a%20thing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn%E2%80%99t%20hear%20back%20from%20her%20for%20a%20week.%20%20And,%20weird,%20it%20was%20a%20Sunday.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EShe%20only%20clearly%20answered%20one%20of%20my%20questions.%20%20%E2%80%9CThere%20have%20been%20no%20changes%20in%20the%20MWF%20list.%20I%E2%80%99ll%20let%20his%20teacher%20know%20he%E2%80%99ll%20be%20out%20of%20town.%20Stop%20by%20the%20office%20on%20his%20first%20day%20to%20fill%20out%20the%20paperwork.%E2%80%9D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20guess%20this%20means%20I%20can%20walk%20him%20in%20on%20his%20first%20day?%20%20And,%20I%E2%80%99ll%20get%20to%20meet%20his%20teacher%20when%20I%20stop%20by%20the%20office%20to%20fill%20out%20the%20paperwork?%20%20Ugh.%20%20I%20just%20don%E2%80%99t%20know.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOk,%20experienced%20school%20moms,%20help%20me%20out%20on%20this%20one.%20%20How%20do%20I%20interpret%20this?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20appreciate%20your%20help.%20%20Have%20a%20donut,%20on%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStrawberry%20Cream%20Donuts%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20favorite%20strawberry%20icing%20and%20fresh%20strawberries%20slathered%20on%20top%20of%20fried%20refrigerated%20biscuit%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%204%20strawberries%20in%20a%20blender%20and%20process%20until%20blended%20into%20a%20puree.%20Strain%20and%20push%20through%20a%20mesh%20strainer%20and%20into%20a%20small%20bowl%20to%20remove%20the%20seeds.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20mixing%20bowl,%20beat%20the%20cream%20cheese%20and%20powdered%20sugar%20until%20somewhat%20combined.%20With%20the%20mixer%20on%20low%20speed,%20slowly%20pour%20in%20the%20strawberry%20puree.%20Once%20all%20of%20the%20puree%20is%20added,%20increase%20the%20mixer%20speed%20to%20medium%20and%20beat%20until%20smooth,%20about%202%20minutes.%20Set%20the%20icing%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20heavy%20bottom%20skillet%20or%20Dutch%20oven,%20heat%20at%20least%202%20inches%20of%20oil%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%20Separate%20the%20biscuit%20dough%20and%20place%20on%20a%20cutting%20board.%20Using%20a%20small%20biscuit%20cutter%20or%20the%20top%20of%20a%20water%20bottle,%20cut%20out%20the%20center%20of%20the%20biscuits%20and%20reserve%20the%20donut%20holes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%202-3%20donuts%20into%20the%20hot%20oil%20and%20fry%20until%20one%20side%20is%20golden%20brown,%20then%20carefully%20flip%20with%20tongs%20and%20fry%20the%20other%20side%20until%20golden%20brown,%20about%201-2%20minutes%20each%20side.%20Remove%20from%20the%20oil%20and%20drain%20on%20a%20paper%20towel%20lined%20plate.%20You%20can%20fry%20the%20donut%20holes,%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20the%20donuts%20are%20slightly%20cooled%20enough%20to%20handle,%20spread%20about%202%20tablespoons%20of%20the%20strawberry%20icing%20on%20top%20of%20each%20one.%20Garnish%20with%20sliced%20strawberries.%20Enjoy%20immediately!2.2%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehttp://www.seededatthetable.com/2013/08/07/strawberry-cream-donuts/%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECopyright%20Seeded%20at%20the%20Table%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
