Stay-Home Take Out Night Dinner

Ingredients

  • ½ head of cabbage – sliced thin
  • 3 bunches of scallions – sliced
  • 2 carrots - grated
  • 4 cloves of garlic – chopped
  • 1 bunch of Italian parsley – chopped
  • 4 stalks of celery – chopped
  • ½ jalapeño – chopped
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger – grated
  • Drizzle of sesame oil
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • 1 lb. of your favorite noodles
  • Sauce:
  • 1 teaspoon of Hoisin Sauce
  • ¾ tsp. Ground Fresh Chili Paste
  • 2 teaspoons Apricot preserves
  • 2 tablespoons Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Fish Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Juice

Directions

  1. Heat a large frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil and a drizzle of sesame oil. Add the vegetables to cook down slightly. Do not overcook your vegetables.
  2. Prepare the noodles as directed and drain. Place in a serving bowl and top with the sautéed vegetables.
  3. Combine all of the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and toss in the noodles and vegetables.
