Sourdough Pancakes (Starter)

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 beaten Large eggs
  • 2 c. lukewarm potato water
  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp. oil

Directions

  1. Soften yeast in the hot potato water. Mix all ingredients well in earthenware bowl and then set away, in this bowl, loosely covered, to ferment. The batch will take 48 hrs to ferment. After this period, pour starter into jar with lid and keep in the refrigerator to be used as needed.
