Sour Cream Sauce For Steamed

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
  • Dash of salt (or possibly to taste)
  • Dash lemon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish

Directions

  1. Heat butter in small saucepan over medium heat. Add in flour and cook over low heat till smooth, stirring constantly. Stir in celery, water, lowfat sour cream, salt, lemon pepper and horseradish. Mix till well blended. Cook over low heat 3-5 min longer, stirring frequently. Makes 3/4 c. sauce.
