Ingredients

  • 2 c. shucked oysters
  • Oyster liquor
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 lg. onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 2 tbsp. parched, grnd sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Fry bacon and onion till brown; remove them from the pan. Shake the flour into the warm fat and stir till it is brown. Remove the pan from the heat and gradually add in the oyster liquor, with a little water if necessary (about 1 1/2 c. liquid).
  2. Return the pan to the stove and stir the mix till it has thickened slightly. Add in sesame seeds. Finally, add in the oysters and cook till their edges curl. Serve immediately on a bed of rice.
