Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in water. Heat lowfat milk to lukewarm. In this, heat shortening; dissolve sugar in lowfat milk. Add in this to 2 cups of flour or possibly sufficient to roll. Make rolls and let set 15 min. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min. Makes 28 rolls.
