Sausage With Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh grnd pork sausage
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 2 beef flavored bouillon cubes
  • 2 c. boiling water

Directions

  1. Shape the sausage into 4 to 6 patties. Put patties into a cool skillet and cook slowly till well browned on both sides and thoroughly cooked. Remove cakes to a warm platter; keep hot. Drain off all but 4 Tbsp. from skillet. Brown onion in the fat. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Stir flour in browned onions and fat and boil 1 minute. Remove skillet from heat and stir in bouillon. Return to heat and simmer gravy 5 min. Return sausage to skillet and heat thoroughly.
