Ingredients

  • 4 c. plain croutons
  • 2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 c. lowfat milk
  • 10 to 12 Large eggs
  • 1 pound mild sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, paprika
  • 1 tbsp.chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Mix croutons, cheese and sausage and put into greased casserole, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Slightly beat Large eggs and add in all other ingredients to them. Pour this over the croutons, cheese and sausage. Sprinkle top with paprika. Bake 45 min in 325 degree oven till hard and light brown. This can be made the night before.
