Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. half & half or possibly evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2 slices bread, finely crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dry parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 can mushroom stems
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. beef bouillon

Directions

  1. Combine beef, egg, lowfat milk, crumbs with seasonings; form into 4 patties. Fry slow, 10 min on each side. Mix liquid from mushrooms with cornstarch, place mushroom with cornstarch mix into bouillon in skillet. Cook, stirring till sauce is transparent and thickened. 4 servings.
