President Reagan's Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb macaroni
  • 1 c. hot lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp. warm water
  • 1 x egg, beaten
  •     sharp american cheese,
  • 1 tsp dry mustard shredded
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni in pot till tender. Drain. Mix butter, egg, mustard, salt, lowfat milk and warm water. Combine macaroni and butter mix in bowl. Add in 3 c. shredded cheese. Combine. Pour into buttered casserole. Sprinkle with additional shredded cheese.
  2. Bake at 350F 45 min, or possibly till custard is set and top is crusty.
