Ingredients

  • 4 or possibly 5 pork chops (boneless is best)
  • 1 c. uncooked rice (not minute rice)
  • 1 med. sliced onion
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1 can beef broth

Directions

  1. Brown pork chops on both sides. Spread c. of rice on bottom of casserole dish. Lay pork chops over rice. Add in layer of pepper and onion over meat. Pour broth and consomme over rice and meat. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour. Don't take top off at anytime while cooking.
