Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 3/4 c. Whipping cream
  • 1 c. Corn syrup
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 5 c. Pecans
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, corn syrup & salt in saucepan. Bring mix to a boil. Add in pecans & cook till soft ball stage (225 degrees). Remove from heat & add in soda & vanilla. Beat vigorously till candy begins to cold & thickens. Pour into a greased 13x9-inch pan. When cold, cut into 1-inch squares.
