Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. (16 ounces) Refried Beans, warmed
  • 4 c. (4 ounces) tortilla chips
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Sliced Jalapenos
  •     Thick & Chunky Salsa (optional)
  •     Lowfat sour cream (optional)

Directions

  1. Additional topping suggestions: guacamole, sliced ripe olives, minced green onions, minced fresh cilantro (optional) PREHEAT broiler. SPREAD beans over bottom of large ovenproof platter or possibly 15 x 10 inch jelly-roll pan. Arrange chips over beans. Top with cheese and jalapenos. BROIL for 1 to 1 1/2 min or possibly till cheese is melted. Top with salsa, lowfat sour cream and additional toppings.
