Ingredients

  • 12 to 14 chicken wings
  • 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lg. onion, minced
  • 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 lg. can artichoke hearts, sliced (unmarinated)
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp. dry basil
  • 2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon warm sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter

Directions

  1. Wash, salt and pepper chicken wings. In large pot heat butter and add in extra virgin olive oil, heat thoroughly. Add in wings and brown. Pour in soy sauce. Meanwhile, saute/fry mushrooms, onion and garlic in 1/4 c. butter till golden brown. Add in to chicken wings, along with the artichoke hearts, water chestnuts. Toss lightly till mixed. Simmer with 1 c. water, basil and warm sauce about 30 min. Serve with rice. Servings: 6 to 8.
