Ingredients

  • 1 can (29 ounce.) pear halves in heavy syrup
  • 1 pkt (3 ounce.) lime flavored gelatin
  • 1 pkt (6 1/2 ounce.) mini marshmallows (3 1/2 c.)
  • 1 pkt (8 ounce.) buttermint candies - crushed
  • 1 ct (9 ounce.) whipped topping - thawed
  •     Fresh mint sprigs, if you like

Directions

  1. A baking dish doesn't need oil . If you uise a mold, it might help to oil it first.
  2. Drain pear halves, reserving 1 c. surup. Chop pears. In a large bowl, mix pears, reserved pear syrup, lime gelatin, marshmallows and mint candies.
  3. Cover and chill 3 hrs or possibly till marshmallows begin to dissolve. Mix in whipped topping. Turn into a 7 cuip mold or possibly a 13 x 9 baking dish (Pyrex)
  4. dfreeze 8 hrs, or possibly overnight till hard. Garnisgh with fresh mint sprigs if you like.
  5. Makes 14 servings.
