Linguine Gamberini (Garlic Shrimp Sauce)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp deveined, peeled
  • 3 x Cloves Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 x Onion finely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Marsala Wine I used Chardonney
  • 1 c. Low Sodium Chicken Broth low fat
  • 1/2 c. Italian parsley chopped Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb Linguini homemade

Directions

  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet. Add in garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  2. Add in onion and cook till transparent, stirring occasionally. Add in flour and stir till well mixed. Whisk in the broth, wine and parsley. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of min, stirring constantly. Lower heat to medium and add in shrimp; cook till shrimp are just pink and done. Serve over pasta, cooked (according to package directions - if store bought).
