Konbu No Tsukukani (Pickled Seaweed)

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt Konbu
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 6 c. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Ginger
  • 1/4 c. Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Gourmet pwdr
  • 2 1/2 c. Shoyu

Directions

  1. Wash Konbu and drain. Boil with water and vinegar and cook till soft, approximately 2 hrs.
  2. Add in sugar, ginger, shoyu, and cook till liquid is almost absorbed.
  3. Stir often to prevent sticking to pan.
  4. Add in gourmet pwdr. Refrigerateand serve.
