Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. heavy cream
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 jar each candied cherries and pineapple, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Healthy pinch salt
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. minced dates
  • Whipped cream

Directions

  1. Spoon into greased one-qt mold. Put on a rack in a kettle of boiling water, allowing water to come half way up around the mold. Cover and steam 3 hrs or possibly till done.
  2. Serve warm with whipped cream. Serves 6.
