Ingredients

  • 3 c. Expanded sourdough starter
  • 10 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1 c. Lard
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 2 x Beaten Large eggs
  • 3 3/4 c. Water

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients. You should have a soft dough. Let rise. Shape into balls on greased cookie sheet. Let rise. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
  2. Makes 48 buns. These are suitable for freezing and are delicious when warmed.
