Ingredients

  • 8 slc white bread
  • 3/4 lb cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 3 c. diced cooked ham
  • 1 x (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed (optional)
  • 6 lrg Or possibly 8 small Large eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. In buttered 3 qt casserole dish, layer bread, cheese, ham, and optional mushrooms in order given till casserole is full, ending with layer of cheese. Beat together remaining ingredients and pour over casserole. If liquid does not show 2/3 way up in the dish, add in more lowfat milk. Bake at 350 F. for 1 hour. Serve immediately.
