Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak, cut in strips
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 2 tbsp. garlic
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 c. minced green onions
  • 2 green peppers, cut in strips
  • 2 lg. fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1 c. beef broth
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 4 c. cooked rice

Directions

  1. Sprinkle steak with paprika and allow to stand awhile preparing other ingredients. Brown steak strips and garlic in butter in large skillet over medium high heat. Add in onions and green peppers, cover and continue cooking till vegetables are wilted, about 5 min. Add in tomatoes and broth, cover and simmer about 15 min. Blend water with cornstarch and soy sauce. Stir into steaks and cook till thickened. Serve over rice.
