Ginger Snaps

These cookies are a family favorite and are great with milk, hot tea or coffee.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Wesson Oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 Tbsp molasses or 1/4 cup.
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients in order of listing and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll into balls and then roll balls in white sugar and bake for 15 minutes.
