Ingredients

  • 3 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 lb Butter, softned
  • 7 x Large eggs, room temperature
  • 3 c. Cake flour, sifted twice
  • 1 c. Whipping cream
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Butter and flour a 10" tube pan. Thoroughly cream together sugar and butter. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  2. Fold in half the flour, then the whipping cream , then the other half of the flour. Add in vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan. Set in Cool oven and turn heat to 350 . Bake 60-70 min, till a sharp knife inserted in cake comes out clean. Cold in pan 5 min. Remove from pan and cold thoroughly.
