Ingredients

  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. eggnog
  • 6 Large eggs
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon lemon or possibly rum flavoring

Directions

  1. Cream butter and Crisco. Gradually add in sugar. Add in Large eggs 1 at a time. Gradually add in flour. Alternate with eggnog (begin with flour and end with flour). Fold in coconut, then flavorings. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
