Danish Meat Balls (Frikadeller)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Veal
  • 1/2 lb Pork
  • 1 gm Onion
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk Pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour or possibly
  • 1 c. Bread crumbs
  • 1 x Egg Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Put veal and pork together through a grinder 4 or possibly 5 times. Add in flour or possibly bread crumbs, lowfat milk, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Drop on frying pan from a large Tbsp. and fry over low heat.
  3. Serve with browned butter, potatoes and stewed cabbage.
