Craggy Topped Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 12 ounce Chocolate chips, divided
  • 3 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 1/3 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/3 c. Minced nuts

Directions

  1. Heat sugar & butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring till butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add in 1-1/4 c. chips; stir till melted. Stir in Large eggs. Stir in flour, vanilla & baking soda till combined. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan.
  2. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 18 - 22 min or possibly till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out slightly sticky.
  3. Sprinkle with remaining chips & nuts while still warm . Cover with foil.
  4. Refrigeratein pan till completely cooled. Cut into bars.
