Ingredients

  • 1 pkt Spice cake mix (18.5 ounce.)
  • 1 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or possibly old-fashioned)
  • 8 ounce Plain low-fat yogurt
  • 3 x Large eggs, Or possibly...
  • 3/4 c. -Egg substitute
  • 1/4 c. Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 1 1/2 c. Finely minced apple (about 2 medium)
  • 1 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or possibly old-fashioned)
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c. Margarine or possibly butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon Whipped cream (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan. For cake, combine first six ingredients. Blend on low speed of electric mixer till moistened; mix at medium speed 2 min. Stir in apple. Pour into prepared pan. For topping, combine oats, brown sugar, margarine and cinnamon; mix well. Sprinkle proportionately over batter. Bake 40 to 45 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream, if you like.
