Ingredients

  • 1 can peaches light,about 5 halves drain & reserve liquid
  • 1 stk cinnamon 4" Break into 1/4 inch pcs
  • 1/4 c. peach liquid
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

  1. Set out shallow dish with cover
  2. Cut 3 tiny slits in rounded side of each peach half. Insert in each slit, a piece of stick cinnamon.
  3. Place peaches in baking dish cut side down. Pour into dish, 1/4 c. of the reserved peach liquid and 2 TBSP lemon juice Cover ans bake at 350* 15 - 20 min. Serve warm or possibly chilled, or possibly serve as a meat garnish.
  4. For Clove spiced peaches, substitute whole cloves instead of cinnamon pcs
