Chocolate Cherry Cake/Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
  • 1 lg. can cherry pie filling
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

  1. Blend ingredients by hand. Bake in 9 x 13 inch greased and lightly floured pan about 40 min or possibly in foil bake cups (inserted in muffin tins) for 15 to 20 min at 350 degrees. Ice with any prepared or possibly homemade lowfat milk chocolate frosting. Top cupcakes with maraschino cherries.
