Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1-2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 T cocoa
  • Lowfat milk to make spreadable

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put all ingredients into bowl; mix well. Pour batter into greased and lightly floured pan. Bake approximately 30 min or possibly till toothpick comes out clean. Cool before icing.
  2. Mix all ingredients together. Frost cool cake.
