Ingredients

  • 2 Fresh eggs
  • 100 Gr. Sugar
  • 100 Gr. Farina (flour)
  • 100 Gr. Butter
  • 200 Gr. Chestnut jam
  • 1 Tbsp. Brewer's yeast
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Note: 100 gr = 3 1/2 oz. or roughly 1/2 cup

Directions

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and salt.
  2. Work in the butter to make it creamy and add the chestnut jam.
  3. Butter/grease a 30 cm (11-12 inches) cake pan/mold.
  4. Pour the mixture and bake in a moderate oven (160°C/320°F) until the cake take a nice golden color.
  5. To be enjoyed cold.
