Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. Shaved plain chocolate*
  • 1/4 c. Fresh Bing cherries, halved And pitted or possibly liquid removed Canned Cherries
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Heavy or possibly whipping cream
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk

Directions

  1. Place the chocolate and the cherries in separate bowls. Cover and chill. Whisk Large eggs in a mixing bowl till light and fluffy, 1-2 mins.
  2. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, then continue whisking till completely blended, about 1 minutes more. Pour in the cream and lowfat milk and whisk to blend. Transfer to an
  3. ice cream maker and freeze following manufacturer's instructions. After ice cream stiffens (about 2 mins before it's done), add in the chocolate and cherries and continue freezing till the ice cream is done.
