Ingredients

  • 24 x Pearl onions
  • 1 c. Beef broth
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 1/4 c. Butter

Directions

  1. Peel the onions and brown them in the butter
  2. Pearl Onions in BalsamicNow, in my recipe. You make an "x" in the base of each onion and boil til just barely tender in water. Saute/fry in butter till they start to get some color. Through on a liberal amount of balsamic vinegar. Cook down to a syrup.
