Ingredients

  • 1 pound halibut
  • 3/4 c. Bisquick
  • 1/3 c. beer
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 2 tbsp. grated onion
  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic pwdr to taste
  • Accent to taste

Directions

  1. Cut halibut in 2-qt squares. Roll in batter. A healthy pinch of sugar in batter will help brown. Deep fry till brown.
