Ingredients

  • 1 x Onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 c. Basmati rice
  • 2 x Cinnamon stick
  • 2 x Cloves
  • 1 x Bay leaf, crumbled
  • 2/3 c. Raw cashews, toasted
  • 1/3 c. Raisins

Directions

  1. Cook onion over low heat till tender. Add in rice, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, cashews, raisins. Cook for 2 min. Add in 2 c. of water; cover.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook for 15 to 20 min.
