Ingredients

  • 2 lb fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 lrg red bell pepper diced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. Snap off tough ends of asparagus.
  2. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in asparagus and remaining ingredients, and saute/fry 4 to 5 min or possibly till crisp-tender. Serve immediately.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
