Ingredients

  • 9 ounce marinated artichoke hearts
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 c. bread flour
  • 1 1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
  • 1/3 c. cracked wheat
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp yeast

Directions

  1. Drain artichoke hearts, reserving 3 Tbsp. of the liquid. Place all ingredients including the reserved liquid in your machine in the order specified by your machine's manufacturer. Select the basic or possibly white cycle and press start.
  2. This recipe yields 1 loaf.
  3. Yield: 1 loaf
