Ingredients

  • Butter and flour For the baking sheets
  • 3/4 c. Grnd almonds use food processor for this
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Unsalted butter Or possibly margarine softened
  • 1 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Grated orange zest

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter and flour at least 2 baking sheets. In a large saute/fry pan, combine the remaining ingredients.
  2. Stir over low heat with a wooden spoon till the butter melts andthe ingredients are well mixed. Remove from the heat. Place heaping tsp. of the batter about 5 inches apart. (The batter will spread during baking.) Bake for 8 to 10 min or possibly till proportionately browned. Remove from the oven. Using a wide spatula, remove the cookies from the baking sheet and immediately shape as desired, into tightly rolled cigarettes, or possibly fans, or possibly allow to cold and serve flat.
  3. Store in airtight containers for 2 days or possibly in the freezer for up to a month. 16 to 20 cookies COOKING RIGHT SHOW #CR9633
