Ingredients

  • 1 lrg chicken fryer
  • 10 med carrots
  • 10 sm white potatoes
  • 2 c. mushrooms
  • 6 x celery stalks cut 3 sections each
  • 1 c. uncooked wild rice
  • 3 c. canned chicken broth
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar melted slowly til caramelized Fresh or possibly dryed cilantro

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients into a large covered pot and cook on 225 degrees for 6 hrs. Your kitchen will smell heavenly and this stew makes its own gravy - delicious!!!
