Ingredients

  • 1 lb Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. Cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Nuts, minced

Directions

  1. In a 1 1/2 quart. casserole, stir sugar, cocoa, salt, lowfat milk and vanilla together till partially blended (it will be too stiff to blend thoroughly). Put butter over top in center of dish. Microwave at high for 2 min, or possibly till smooth. If all butter has not melted in cooking, it will as mix is stirred. Blend in nuts. Pour into a lightly-buttered 8x4x3" dish. Refrigerate1 hour in refrigerator or possibly 20 to 30 min in freezer.
  2. Cut into squares.
  3. Makes about 36 squares.
