My own rendition of an old time favorite. My kids love this recipe. It is not for health conscious people as it does include lots of cheese and butter.... LOL!
Ingredients
- 1 pkg of 16 oz. small elbow macaroni (small shells work well too)
- 1/2 pkg of the Blocked Velveeta Cheese (cut into small cubes to make the melting easier)
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 stick of Butter
Directions
- 1) cook pasta per package instructions (helpful hint* I add 1/2 stick of butter & salt to the water before adding the pasta)
- 2) drain pasta & return pasta to pot (lowering the heat on stove)
- 3) add butter, cheese & milk to pasta
- 4) stir the pasta to ensure the cheese is melted
- * you can add more milk or butter to your liking
